Abstract

The research work presents the pattern analysis of Internet Usage of students in a university campus. The internet usage was recorded on the students and academic staffs. The results of their engagement on Internet have analyzed using various Data mining and analytics tools and their patterns were identified. The research work is mainly focused on the six broad research objectives i.e., to study patterns of intranet data usage by different student groups, patterns of applications usage by different categories. To study patterns of top applications and usage of top denied applications and category wise usage by different student groups according to the course, age and other categories and a computational approach has been proposed to speed up intranet.
